Achievement/Work Experience (in brief) serving for 28 years I retired on 31st Oct,2017 as Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. I work for 5 years in Law & Judicial Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh and 23 years in Election Department (first as Assistant Chief Electoral Officer and then as Joint Chief Electoral Officer). As per Election Commission's order officer next to the Chief Electoral Officer in each State /UT irrespective of his rank/status in the State Government hierarchy, is the Joint Chief Electoral Officer.

During 23 years of service in Election Department 2 simultaneous election (1999 and 2014 ), Lok Sabha Election (1996,1998, 2004 and 2009) and 3 Assembly Elections (1995, 2004 and 2009) were held in the state. I prayed my due role in the successful conduct of the all Elections. Apart from conduct of Elections I also performed my duties to the satisfaction of the Chief Electoral Officers and Election Commission of India to ensure that revision process is carried out successfully. Revision of Electoral rolls is ordered every year by the Election Commission of India.

As stated above before joining Electoral Department I was Law Officer in Law & Judicial Department for nearly 5 years from October, 1989. As Law Officer I had performed my duties with due sincerity and the fullest satisfaction of my senior Officers. Work of Law & Judicial Department is not only attending the litigation before the courts and legislation of all enactment falling under the state and concurrent lists. Most importantly it is the responsibility of the Law & Judicial Department to give opinion/advice to the council of Ministers and His Excellency, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh. All the Government Departments function with the advice of with the advice of and under the constant guidance of Law Department in the matter of administrative law and constitutional requirements. Law Department, despite being an advisory one, is one of most Important Department as far as technicalities and the statutory obligation it has to perform.
